It's so easy to make this delicious vegan tomato soup at home!  - 10 simple ingredients - Comforting and rich

Heat olive oil in a large pan and saute the onion and garlic for 5 minutes until starting to brown.

Add vegetable broth, chopped tomatoes and sugar. Bring to a boil and  simmer covered with a lid, on low-medium heat for 10 minutes.

Add fresh basil and season with salt and pepper.

Using an immersion blender, puree the soup until smooth.

Finally, stir in vegan cream.
