What's next for Vegan on Board

Our 1st birthday celebration week is coming to an end. We've written a lot about the past year in those last few days, but now it's time to look ahead. What does the future hold for Vegan on Board? And also, what would you, our readers, like to see from us in the coming months and years? Exciting times are ahead!

First things first. We'd like to say, we're really quite proud of what we have accomplished in the year that has just gone by for us. Apart from all the adventures we had, we have established Vegan on Board as a growing website that keeps on getting bigger.

Of course we'd like to keep it that way 🙂 So here's a few plans, ideas and goals for the future, to make Vegan on Board a constant in the world of vegan food blogs.

    Improved user-friendliness

We are always trying to improve our website, so our readers can get the most out of it. We'll be working behind the scenes on all sorts of technical stuff, to do just that!!

We also want to make our beautiful blog faster and easier to navigate. This is something where we'd really like to hear from you.

What would make it easier and nicer for you to use veganonboard.com?

You might like to consider the organisation, navigation and design. Ideally the process of using the site should be simple and easy, if there’s anything that frustrates you or you find awkward, we want to make it better!

Please let us know in the comments! 🙂

Coming soon to a screen near you...

Video is big nowadays, so we'll be experimenting with this over the next year to bring you a fresh way to enjoy our content. Wish us luck!

We'd love to know: What kind of videos do you prefer?

    • Quick hands and pan overhead "Tasty" style videos
    • Or videos where the chef talks to you and shows you how to make the recipe

    More recipes!

As a food blog, our core is sharing recipes with you, and that's one of favourite things to do. We have an ever growing list of ideas and we'll be endeavoring to share as many of them with you as we can!

But what recipes do you want to see more of?

    • Foraging recipes
    • Zero waste recipes
    • Easy vegan recipes
    • Van and camping recipes
    • Cake recipes
    • Dinner recipes
    • Let us know your suggestions!

    Making more of a difference

One of our reasons for writing this blog is to spread our passion for plant based eating as a more sustainable way of living. We'll be focussing more on reducing our footprint on this planet in the future. We've been gravitating towards the ideal of a zero waste lifestyle. So get ready to be inspired! We'll show you how to make your own plant milk, smoked tofu, and what you can do with apple scraps... and more!

As the blog grows, and we start to make an income, we intend to share the profits with charities and organisations that help to take care of our planet - the beautiful home that we all share.

    What's really next, who knows!

We've never been so great at planning, we like to go where the mood takes us. We spent our first ever road trip saying we were going to Spain, and we never made it!

So in our next year of blogging we're looking forward to lots of unexpected distractions and diversions along the way. Whatever we do, we promise it will be an adventure and we love having you on board! Who knows maybe Sophie will even learn to drive...

One thing's for certain, we do know what tomorrow will bring! It's FINALLY CAKE time 🙂 See you tomorrow, friends!

    Love,

    Sophie and Paul

I like everything you do - easy, vegan, cheerful, no fuss, excellent use of language, photos I can relate to. The only improvement I can think of is maybe videos where you speak to us, as suggested. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your emails and have passed your WS address onto my vegan friends.
